City Rain, City Streets

Happy month-anniversary in London! For me, that is.

To celebrate, I'm going to go see "The Alchemist". Actually, it's really what we're doing for Theatre class today.

But yesterday I DID finally go to TopShop and FINALLY purchased a blue wool coat. It's really pretty and considering it was only 70 quid (could've been a lot worse), I was pretty satisfied. I also got a hat and a white shirt, as I've been looking for both awhile now.

And I got a 10% discount for being a student.

So now I just need to find some boots that aren't a million pounds, and I'll have an awesome "euro" outfit. Ha....I need to stay away from Top Shop.

Photos!

Right, quick update. Haven't done much this weekend since the pizza extravaganza...which means that I haven't run either. I know I know, I'll bust it up this week.

Anyway, so yesterday? Trying to remember what I did. Oh yeah, Bethany and I found a Farmer's Market and bought some amazing bread and carrots and a treacle tart. All have been pretty tasty, I must say. We then went to the National Gallery and spent some time there. Gorgeous paintings, I finally saw the Water Lillies of Monet, and a few Picassos, Van Goughs, Renoirs, etc. I bought a print of this beautiful black and white painting by Boilly (I think that's how you spell the name). Plan on getting it framed to put up in my room when I'm back in the States!

We went out to dinner with Bethany's and Emily's parents and waited foreeeever, but it was worth the wait. Then my roommates and I + Emily's friend Jane checked out this indie dance club called "The After Skool", and it was actually pretty sweet. We got home way late though.

Anyway, so today we slept late and haven't done much. I was thinking about going back to that Alternative Worship thing again but I kind of want to curl up and chat on the internet because it's dreary outside. So we'll see.

Below's the link to new photos from Hyde Park! Enjoy!
